Question 20
Draw a diagram to show how seawater reaches a lake or pond?
The various processes involved in seawater reaching a lake or a pond can be explained with the help of the following diagram.
Seawater gets evaporated and enters the atmosphere in the form of water vapour. It forms clouds by condensation and falls on to the ground in the form of rain or snow. The rainwater which falls on to the ground forms various water bodies such as lakes, rivers, etc. The river water reaches sea after flowing through various regions on the land and the cycle continues. This is called water cycle.
