Draw a line segment of the length $6.6cm$. Bisect it and measure the length of each part.

Step 1. Draw a line segment $AB=6.6cm$ using ruler.

Step 2.Taking $A$ as a centre and taking radius more than the half of $6.6cm$, draw two arcs on the opposite sides of $AB$.

Step 3.Without changing the radius , now taking$B$ as a centre, draw two arcs on the opposite sides of $AB$which will intersect the previous arcs.

Step 4. Draw a line joining the intersecting points of the arcs say$P$ and$Q$. This $PQ$ line is the required bisector of the line $AB$

Step 5.Now measure the length$OA$ and $OB$ using ruler .The length of $OA$ and $OB$ is $3.3cm$ each.
