Solution
Human digestive system:
The human digestive system comprises the alimentary canal and associated glands (liver and pancreas).
The alimentary canal begins with the mouth.
The mouth contains teeth and tongue.
The esophagus is the next part of the mouth.
It is present between the mouth and stomach.
Food comes to the stomach from the mouth through the esophagus.
The stomach is a muscular bag-like structure.
The liver secretes bile to digest fats, and the pancreas secretes pancreatic juice, which acts on fat, and proteins in the small intestine.
The small intestine is the longest part of the digestive system and comprises about 22 feet.
The next part of the alimentary canal is the large intestine which stores the waste material.
The waste excreta passes out from the body by the anus.
