$x+3y=6;2x-312$, hence find the area of region bounded by lines $x=0,y=0$ and $2x-3y=12$

$x+3y=6\Rightarrow$ when $x=0y=2\Rightarrow (0,2)$

when $y=0x=6\Rightarrow (6,0)$

$2x-3y=12\Rightarrow x=0y=-4\Rightarrow (0,-4)$

$y=0x=6\Rightarrow (6,0)$

Are of shaded part $=\frac{1}{2}\times 4\times 6$

$=12$ units.
