Using graduated ruler, draw line segment AB of length 5 cm. -Draw 2 arcs of any radius with A as centre, one above AB and one below AB. -With the same radius, similarly draw 2 arcs with B as the centre. -Let the point where the 2 arcs above AB meet be P and the point where the 2 arcs below AB meet be Q. -Join PQ to obtain the perpendicular bisector.
