b) Glucose present in the blood plasma enters the nephron during the filtration process and after passing through the glomerulus the filtrate enters the renal tubule.
  • Reabsorption occurs in the renal tubules where glucose and other nutrients, water etc diffuse out of the renal tubules and enter the surrounding capillaries
  • These reabsorbed substances such as glucose and other nutrients are sent back to the bloodstream.
