Question

Due to the photolysis of water Nascent oxygen is evolved in the lumen of thylakoid.
If 2 Molecules of water is splitted then OXYGEN GAS is produced.
but if only 1 molecule of water is splitted then NASCENT OR SINGLET OXYGEN is produced.
So my query here is that, will the nascent oxygen wait to get converted into OXYGEN gas so as to difuse out to the stroma of chlroplast, or will it directly goes out of stroma when 1 molecule of water splits/
