Solution

The correct option is B sebaceous glands
Puberty is the onset of the reproductive phase in humans where they become sexually and reproductively mature. It is characterised by several changes in the body of both boys and girls.
One such change observed in both boys and girls is the appearance of acne. Increased secretion of sex hormones causes hypercativity of sebaceous glands (also known as oil glands which are responsible for the secretion of oil on our skin). This attracts dust and other pollutants onto the skin resulting in the formation of acne.
Sweat glands or sudoriferous glands are responsible for the secretion of sweat.
Lacrimal glands are found in our eyes and are responsible for the release of tears and other secretions that continually keep our eyes clean.
The thyroid gland is present on the neck, in front of the trachea or windpipe. It is responsible for the release of thyroid hormones.
