Breathing is a process of gaseous exchange in which oxygen rich air is taken in andCO2 rich air is given out from the body.

Part 2: Gaseous exchange in leaves
Leaf has small pores known as stomata present on the leaf surface which allows exchange of gases by diffusion.

Part 3: Gaseous exchange in roots and woody stem
Roots have root hairs present on their surface which helps in exchange of gases. Woody stems have lenticels present on their surface which allows oxygen to diffuse in and carbon dioxide to diffuse out.
