The area of each face of cube $=100{cm}^2$
$\therefore$ core of the cube $=\sqrt{100}=10cm$
When a cube is cut of parallel to its base and divided into two equal parts, then two cuboids are formed.
In which the length of each cube (I) $=10cm$
Breadth (b) $=5cm$
Height $\left(h\right)=10cm$
$\therefore$ And the surface area of each cuboid formed
$=2(lb+bh+hl)$
$=2\left[\right(10\times 5)+(5\times 10)+(10\times 10\left)\right]$
$=2[50+50+100]$
$=2\times 200=400{cm}^2$
Hence, the surface area of each cuboid formed $=400{cm}^2$
