how many tiles required to cover a hall of
length =50m and breadth =36m

Open in App
Solution

Tiles will be place on the floor of the hall.
So, we have to find out the area of the floor, The floor is a rectangle
lenth = 50
breadth = 36
Area = length * breadth
= 50*36
= 1800 meter square
side of the tile = 60cm = .60m
Area of tile = .60*.60 = 36 meter square
Tiles required = Area of floor / Area of tile
= 1800/36
=50 tiles
hence 50 tiles are required to cover the hall
