The reaction between zinc and sulfuric acid is Zn+H2SO4ZnSO4+H2.
Thus, one mole of zinc reacts with excess of sulfuric acid to produce one mole of hydrogen.

The reation between zinc and NaOH is Zn+2NaOHNa2ZnO2+H2.
Thus, one mole of zinc reacts with excess of sodium hydroxide to produce one mole of hydrogen.
