Step 1. converting mixed fractions into improper fractions.
$=$ $\frac{(12 \times 13) + 2}{13} - \frac{(6 \times 11) + 5}{11}$
$= \frac{158}{13} - \frac{71}{11}$
Step 2. After step 1, we have to take L.C.M of denominators of both fractions.
L.C.M of $11$ and $13$ $=$ $11 \times 13$
$=$ $143$
Step 3. After taking L.C.M of $11$ and $13$ , following the given calculation.
$= \frac{(158 \times 11) - (13 \times 71)}{143}$
$= \frac{1738 - 923}{143}$
$=$ $\frac{815}{143}$ or $5 \frac{100}{143}$
Hence, the required answer is $\frac{815}{143}$ or $5 \frac{100}{143}$ .
