Experts, Some people die of high fever i.e high body temperature. Is it because at such high temperature the body enzymes get destroyed and metabolic reactions are affected??

fever is one the body's innate( in born ) immune response that fall under physiological barrier . As soon pathogen enters and start increasing its number ,hypothalamus respond this change by increase body temperature so that pathogen is killed . But increasing temperature for long can adversily affect body and affect biochemical reaction .that may sometime can lead to of the patient .
