1. Blue vitriol is CuSO4. It is an inorganic compound which has blue color due to water of crystallisation. Thus, originally blue vitriol is CuSO4.5H2O.

(d) Treatment of copper deficiency.

(a) Black vitriol is Ferrous Sulphate and iron sulphide.
(b) Green vitriol is Ferrous Sulphate heptahydrate.
(c) Red vitriol is Cobalt Sulphate heptahydrate.
