Fertilisers Manures
They are commercially manufactured chemical products/inorganic salts which contain essential plant nutrients. They are a product of decomposition of organic matter which is rich in nutrients required by the plants.
Fertilisers are produced in factories. Manures can be prepared in the field.
Fertilisers do not add humus to soil. Manures add a lot of humus to soil.
Fertilisers are rich in plant nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Manure is relatively less rich in plant nutrients.
