Plants are the primary producers of the ecosystem. they do photosynthesis to form organic food.
By doing photosynthesis plants produce food. which act as a source of food
In plants glucose is obtained from photosynthesis and is converted into starch and starch is stored in the parts of plants.
For eg. the leaves of cauliflower, the stem of potato, the root of carrot, and radish.
In this way, plants act as a source of food.
