Multiple alleles are three or more alternative forms of a gene that can occupy the same locus, the best example of multiple alleles in humans is the ABO blood groups, while other human traits determined by multiple alleles would be, hair color, physical structure etc.

Human blood types are blood group A ( $I^a{I}^o$, $I^a{I}^a$), B ( $I^b{I}^o$, $I^b{I}^b$), AB ( $I^a{I}^b$), O ( $I^o{I}^o$).
