Solution

Oscillatory motion: Oscillatory motion refers to the motion in which the object moves back and forth repeatedly about a mean position.

For example: Motion of a swing is oscillatory as it moves back and forth.

Periodic motion: An object is said to possess periodic motion if it moves in such a way that it repeats its motion after a certain interval of time.

For example: Motion of the Earth around the Sun as it repeats its motion after a fixed time interval (i.e., 365 days).

Random motion: The motion of an object whose direction changes continuously in an improper way is called random motion.

For example: The motion of a snail, he changes his direction while walking in an improper way or the motion of a fly.

Circular motion: An object is said to possess circular motion if it moves from one point to another in such a way that its distance from a fixed point always remains constant.

For example: The movement of the blades of a fan. During their motion, the head of the blades move from one point to another, but the distance of the head from the axis of rotation always remains the same.
