Symbiotic Relationship:

  1. A symbiotic connection is one in which two or more species interact closely.
  2. There are three forms of symbiotic relationships: mutualism, commensalism, and protocooperation.
  3. In mutualism, both parties profit equally, and neither is hurt; in commensalism, one partner benefits without injuring the other; and in protocooperation, both partners gain without initiating physical contact.
  4. Certain creatures coexist and share resources such as shelter and food.
  5. A symbiotic connection is a term used to describe this type of nourishment.
  6. Certain fungi, for example, can be found in tree roots.
  7. In this type of association, the tree offers nutrients to the fungus, and the fungus, in turn, assists plants in absorbing water and nutrients from the soil, which is necessary for plant growth.
  8. This link is critical for the tree's survival.

  1. Mutualism
  2. Commensalism
  3. Predation
  4. Parasitism
  5. Competition.
