The Chloroplast of algae are found in various shapes which depends upon the habitat, like spiral shaped in Spirogyra, stellate shaped in Zygnema, reticulate in Oedogonium, cup shaped in Chlamydomonas, girdle shaped in Ulothrix, discoid in Chara, lobed shaped in Pleurococcus.
