(A) the salt whose pH of the aqueoqs solution is less than 7 ,
e.g. NH4Cl (aq) + H2O → NH4OH + HCl
weak base strong acid
(B) The salt whose pH is more than 7 ,
e.g. CH3COONa + H2O → CH3COOH + NaOH ( srrong base )
(C) The salt whose pH is equal to 7 ,
NaCl + H2O → NaOH + HCl ( Both are strong )
