qualifications of secretary :
1. statutory educations :
(a) paid up capital of 50 lakhs or more: (1) must be the member of ICSI( Institute of chartered secretaries of India.
(b) in case of other company:following qualifications are required:
(1) a law degree from any university.
(2)membership of ICAI(institute of chartered accountants of India)
(3) membership of ICWA( institute of cost and works accountants of India)
(4) post graduation degree from university
(5) post graduation degree in commerce granted by university
(6)diploma in company law.

other qualifications :
1. knowledge of law
2. mercantile law knowledge
3. good communication
4. knowledge of economics
5. general knowledge.
As the company secretary is handling all the compliance and administration duties so he should have the following qualifications
