Solution

Answer:

Suspension:

  • It is a heterogeneous mixture in which the solid particles do not dissolve and are spread throughout the liquid without dissolving in it.
  • In suspension, these solute particles are suspended throughout the bulk and can be visible by the naked eye.
  • For example, in a mixture of sand and water, the particles of sand are suspended in water without dissolving in it.
  • A mixture of chalk particles in water is also an example of a suspension where chalk particles remain suspended in water.
