Explain Types of population pyramid.

The different types of population pyramid are :
1)Expansive Population Pyramid : It shows larger percentages of the population in the younger age groups. Here, population growth is rapid. Eg : Third world countries have this population pyramid.
2)Constrictive Population Pyramid : It shows lower number or percentages of the younger population.Here, population growth is negative. Eg : USA has constrictive population pyramid
3) Stationary Population Pyramid : It shows almost equal number or percentages in each age groups. Here, population growth is neutral or stable. Eg: Austria has stationary population pyramid.
