Explain why India can grow almost each and every crop.

• It is said that India can grow all types of crops, this is because India has very suitable climate that supports growth of wide varieties of crops. For example; wheat and cotton requires high amount of sunlight and India gets this.
• On the other hand plantations like tobacco, coffee, tea and other spices require optimum amounts of sunlight which is provided by Indian climate.
• Apart from this, India also has different types of soils and abundant rainfall supporting growth of almost each and every crop.
