Explain why it is easier to stop a tennis ball in comparison to a cricket ball moving with the same speed?

A cricket ball has more mass compared to a tennis ball. When you stop both the balls, change in momentum is higher in the case of a cricket ball which means it requires higher force as compared to a tennis ball to bring it at rest.
