Solution

Dear student,
In solid the particles are closely packed to each other Ie the intermolecular space between the atoms of solid is negligible. There particles /atoms are tightly packed in definite crystal lattice whereas in liquids atoms or molecules present in the matter are loosely packed.Their molecules have little forces of attraction. while liquids atoms have some attraction, but gasses have negligible forces of attraction.
