Solution

Grasslands:

  1. Grassland is a place where few trees or places for animals are present.
  2. It is dominated mainly by herbivorous animals such as deer, reindeer, and bison.
  3. The population of carnivorous animals is comparatively smaller in numbers than the herbivores.
  4. Carnivorous animals like coyotes, lions, etc reside in these areas.

Speed is essential for the animal that lives in grassland:

  1. The grasslands are covered by dry grasses and few trees, so the herbivores can not hide from predators.
  2. If the animals will not run at a high speed then they would get hunted or consumed by the carnivorous animals.
  3. Hence, speed is important for the survival of animals that lives in grassland.
