Explain with diagram the method for preparation of dihydrogen gas in laboratory. Write its four properties.

Granulated zinc reacts with dilute sulphuric acid to form dihydrogen.
Properties of Dihydrogen:
1) It is colourless, tasteless, odourless gas.
2) It is lighter than air.
3) It is highly combustible. It burns in air with a pale blue flame.
4) It reacts with carbon monoxide at 700 K in the presence of a catalyst Zn/Cr2O3 to form methanol.
