Adaptations in cold environment:

1. Animals living in very particular habitat has special features to protect themselves against extreme cold or heat conditions.
2. Penguins are found in cold regions.
3. They have a feathery coat as well as a layer of fat under the feathery coat.
4. This coat covers their bodies right down to their legs.
5. These adaptations keep the body warm.
