The melting point of Al2O3 is about 2000C, at which Aluminium is obtained in vapour state, which is very highly reactive. So, best method is electrolytic reduction of Al2O3, by mixing with Na3AlF6 & CaF2 which lowers the melting point of the mix and brings conductivity.
