The correct option is B
$x = - 2, \frac{3}{2}$

Given,
$2 x^{2} + x - 6 = 2 x^{2} + 4 x - 3 x - 6 = 2 x (x + 2) - 3 (x + 2) = (x + 2) (2 x - 3)$
Roots of this equation are the values for which $(x + 2) (2 x - 3) = 0$
$∴ x + 2 = 0 or 2 x - 3 = 0 \Rightarrow x = - 2 or x = \frac{3}{2}$
