Open in App
Solution

Dear student,

Pollination is the process where pollen grains from the anther are transferred to the stigma of the same or different flower. The means of transfer of pollen grains may be biotic or abiotic. Biotic means includes insect, birds and other animals and abiotic means includes air, wind etc.
Fertilization is the process where male gamete fuses with the female gamete inside the female reproductive organ or it may be outside of it.

Regards.
