Given [Fe(H2O)6]+2 and [Fe(CN)6]4
These compound differ each other because (CN) ligand is a strong ligand it pair up with unpaired electrons in the outermost shell where as H2O is a weak ligand.
So different in colour and magnetic moment.
Also, [Fe(H2O)]2+ shows sp3d2 hybridization and [Fe(CN)6]4 shows d2sp3 hybridization.
Since [Fe(H2O)]2+ is high spin complex and [Fe(CN)6]4 is low spin complex, they have different number of unpaired electrons.
