In the given circuit, the series combination of 12Ω & 18Ω is in parallel with the resistor of resistance 10Ω.

The equivalent resistance of the series combination is given by
Req=(12Ω+18Ω)=30Ω.


Now this 30Ω and 10Ω are in a parallel combination,
We know that the equivalent resistance for a parallel combination of resistors is given by:
1Req= 1R1 +1R2+1R3+........+1Rn

,1Req= 130 +110= (1+330)
1Req= 430
Req= 304= 7.5Ω


Now 9Ω & 7.5Ω are in series.
Req= 9+7.5= 16.5Ω which is the equivalent resistance between the terminals A and B.
