The prime factors are as follows,
$540 = 2 \times 2 \times 3 \times 3 \times 3 \times 5$
$2592 = 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 3 \times 3 \times 3 \times 3$
$∴$ The L.C.M $= 2 \times 2 \times 3 \times 3 \times 3 = 108$
and the G.C.D $= 2^{5} \times 3^{4} \times 5 = 12960$ .
