Solution

Molarity(M):

  1. It is given as the number of moles of solute per litre of solution.
  2. M=Numberofmoles(n)Volumeofsolution(V)(inlitre)
  3. The number of moles can be written as: n=givenmass(m)MolarMass(M)
  4. M=mM×1V=1M×mV=ρM=densityMolarmass
  5. So Molarity of water =100018=55.55M
