The correct option is B 1 m/s2
The given system can be reframed as shown

From constraint condition and using method of intercept we have,

..L1+..L2+..L3+..L4=0
aAaBaB+a=0
2aB=aaA(1)

From FBD of A and B
T5g=5aA(2)
2T10 g=10aB(3)
On solving above two equation, we get
aA=aB
Putting this value in equation (1), we get
3aA=a=3 m/s2
aA=1 m/s2
Hence, acceleration of block A is 1 m/s2
