Applying Newton's 2nd law, in the horizontal direction:

Tsin53=ma ...(1)

and in the vertical direction,

Tcos53mg=0

Tcos53=mg ...(2)

Using equations (1) and (2),

Tsin53Tcos53=ag

Given,

g=10 ms2, sin53=45, cos53=35

43=a10

a=13.33 ms2

Hence, (C) is the correct answer.
