An alkyne is a hydrocarbon in which at least two carbon atoms are joint to each other by a triple bond.

The general formula for alkyne is CnH2n2. So if you put the value of n equal to the number of carbon atoms in the given options we will know which option is the correct one.

For n=1
C1H2×12 = C1H0 This compound is not possible as this is only a carbon atom.

For n=3,
C3H2×32 = C3H4 This is not equal to C3H8

For n=4,
C4H2×42 = C4H6 This is equal to C4H6

For n=5
C5H2×52 = C5H8 This is not equal to C5H12

So amond the given options C4H6 is the only alkyne among the given options.
