Question

Find the angle between two vectors (a=2^i+^j3^k) and (b=3^i2^j^k).

Open in App
Solution

Given: a=2^i+^j3^k and b=3^i2^j^k
a.b=(2^i+^j3^k)(3^i2^j^k)
=62+3=7....(1)
|a|=22+12+(3)2=14....(2)
b=32+(2)2+(1)2=14....(3)
cosθ=a.b|a|.b=71414=12
cosθ=cos60o
θ=60o
Hence the required angle is 60o
