Finding the area of the rectangle :

Given , length of the rectangle $=3.3\text{km}$

Breadth of the rectangle $=420\text{m}$

We know that, $1\text{km=1000 m}$

So, length of the rectangle in $\text{m}$ is $=3.3\times 1000=3300\text{m}$

Now,

Area of the rectangle $=\text{length×breadth}$

$$\begin{gathered} =3300\times 420 \\ =1386000\text{sq.m} \end{gathered}$$

Hence, area of the rectangle is $1386000\text{sq.m}$
