Find the area of the rhombus, the lengths of whose diagonals are 30 cm and 16 cm. Also find the perimeter of the rhombus.

Area of the rhombus = 12×d1×d2, where d1 and d2 are the lengths of the diagonals.

=12×30×16=240 cm2

Side of the rhombus = 12d12+d22

=12302 +162=121156=12×34=17 cm

Perimeter of the rhombus = 4a
= 4×17
= 68 cm
