In a trapezium ABCD,

$B a s e A B = 15 c m a n d D C = 9 c m, h e i g h t D L = 8 c m ∴ A r e a = \frac{1}{2} (s u m o f b a s e s) \times h e i g h t = \frac{1}{2} (A B + D C) \times D L = \frac{1}{2} (15 + 9) \times 8 c m^{2} = \frac{1}{2} \times 24 \times 8 c m^{2} = 96 c m^{2}$
