Find the coordinates of a point where the line $x-\frac{1}{3}y=7$ intersects the co-ordinate axes.

Given the equation of the line is

$x-\frac{1}{3}y=7$

or, $\frac{x}{7}+\frac{y}{-21}=1$.

From this equation it is clear that the line intersect the $x-$ axis at $(7,0)$ and intersects the $y-$ axis at $(0,-21)$.
