Let the Point A(x,0) on X-axis be equidistant from P(-2,-5) and Q(2,3).

PA=PQPA2=PQ2

Distance, d=(x2x1)2+(y2y1)2

(x(2))2+(0(5))2=(x2)2+(03)2(x+2)2+(5)2=(x2)2+(3)2x2+4x+4+25=x24x+4+98x+25=98x=925=16x=2

Co-ordinates of point on X-axis is (2,0)
