$\Rightarrow AB=\sqrt{{(3-7)}^2+{(4-8)}^2}$

$\Rightarrow AB=\sqrt{{(-4)}^2+{(-4)}^2}$

$\Rightarrow AB=\sqrt{16+16}=\sqrt{32}=4\sqrt{2}$units.
