Here, $m = - 3, x_{1} = 6 and y_{1} = 2$

Substituting these values in $y - y_{1} = m (x - x_{1})$ , we get,

$y - 2 = - 3 (x - 6) \Rightarrow y - 2 = - 3 x + 18 \Rightarrow 3 x + y - 20 = 0$

Hence, the equation of the required line is $3 x + y - 20 = 0$
