The correct option is B 6 N
From FBD we write the force equation,

N1=8 g=80 N

fmax=μN1=0.8×80
=64 N
N2=N1+2g=8g+2g=10g=100 N
Assume them to move together with common acceleration

ac=Fm1+m2=3010=3 m/s2
For them to move together, required friction
f=2ac=6 N

But f<fmax; the frictional force =6 N
